Morris and Judy Covin are the owners of Morris Covin & Associates, Inc. which they formed in 1972. Judy and Morris have both conducted criminal and civil investigations locally, nationally and internationally. Through their investigations and working with a variety of criminal offenses, both from the violent and white collar crime areas, the need for crime awareness and prevention became apparent.

Today, they conduct specialized investigations, in-service training programs and seminars and are respected consultants in their fields of expertise. They also volunteer much of their time presenting programs for church and civic groups, especially involving the youth and older citizens.

Has extensive experience in management, having served as operations manager for JVC America, Houston Branch from 1967 to 1972 and continuing as co-owner of Morris Covin & Associates, Inc. She actively served as a Reserve Criminal Investigative Detective with the Harris County Sheriff’s Department from 1977 through 1982 working a cross section of criminal offenses. Judy has vast experience in investigating White Collar Criminal Activity and Specialized Cases. She is directly involved in Training & Consulting clients in areas of Crime and Loss Prevention, Analytical Investigations, Financial Manipulation Analysis, Proper Hiring Procedures, Employment Development Programs and Team Building. She was a licensed Classroom & Firearms Instructor for the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private Security Agencies for several years. Served as a member of a Harris County Grand Jury in 1994 and as Foreman of a Harris County Grand Jury in 1997.

Has in excess of 30 years experience in the areas of criminal and civil investigations, fire causation, arson investigation, investigative polygraphy, loss prevention and security. Morris also serves as an expert witness within the spectrum of security, fire and explosion related litigation. Retired from the City of Houston Arson Bureau as Criminal Investigator and Senior Polygraph Examiner in 1976 after 20 years of service.
